Since joining Harrison Photography Marie-Therese has been on a number of assignments in Paris, Birmingham, London, Berlin, Dublin and around the province for a wide range of clients. She is an integral member of the planning team for each event/commission she undertakes.
Marie-Therese has extensive experience in working for a large number of public and private sector clients. This includes all of the current Government Departments in Northern Ireland and many of the predecessor departments. In addition she has worked extensively with Invest Northern Ireland and its predecessor organisations – IDB, IRTU and LEDU. Her work for these clients has ranged from portraiture and studio work through to shoots on location covering a wide range of photographic needs including promotional, PR and media pictures.
She was the photographer for the book ‘The Armed Peace’ life and death after ceasefires by Brian Rowan. Photographs for the book include loyalists, republicans, the Chief Constable of the PSNI and the RUC, and local political party leaders. Photographs were depicted during interviews of the individuals, in their relevant environments. This gave her a good insight into the news world and the many personalities that go with it, all of which were exciting and very interesting.
She has also worked for the Northern Ireland Information Service covering assignments, including Royal and Presidential visits and many of the various Secretary of States’ photocalls.
Marie-Therese has worked with many private sector clients of the company – from locally grown businesses such as FG Wilson to large multinationals including BT.
In the world of celebrity Marie-Therese has also photographed names such as Roy Keane, Eddie Irvine, Hilary Clinton, Justin Timberlake, Mary Mc Aleese, Dalai Lama to name but a few.
Her daily work may vary from low profile presentations to higher profiled announcements with Government ministers, in which her pictures are used for in-house magazines, high glossy magazines or newspapers. Digital photography making processes a lot quicker, from the client seeing the images to picture desks receiving them.
For each assignment Marie-Therese works on she will bring her own innovative and creative input to the planning and production to ensure the clients objectives are met with the best possible photographic coverage.
